I am totally a cat person, but our house would not be complete without our canine family members. We did have three dogs until this past summer. Sadly on of our dogs, Mickey passed away. He was an old guy and having seizures. The seizures left him deaf and having trouble getting up and down stairs. Then one night he went to get up after resting for awhile and he just could get up anymore. That was a hard time for us all. It is so tough to loose a furry child.
The big white guy in the photo is the one we lost this past summer. The other two cuties we are lucky to still have. They are both 15 and still doing really good. Though one is now deaf and one is starting to have problems with their one knee. For 15 they are doing pretty good.
Dogs can sure make you feel loved and special. Whether I am gone 5 minutes or all day, they are always so excited to see me when I get home. They get so excited to see all of us. Dogs just always seem to want to be with their owner and to make their owner happy.
Our white guy, Mickey, that just passed away always wanted to do everything to impress. He knew how to do so many tricks like dancing, saying his prayers and more. He also could put laundry in the laundry basket and I mean all the way in the basket too. I think he used to do laundry better than the kids do. LOL
