Every year we like to add something to our holiday decor collection. This year, one of the items that we added was the Precious Moments A Season of Joy and Togetherness which is from the Disney line of products that Precious Moments carries.

I have always adored the Precious Moments line of products. They are so beautiful and well made. They are collectibles that can be handed down through the generations, becoming timeless collectible pieces.
This year, as soon as I saw this figurine with Mickey & Minnie carrying their freshly cut Christmas tree, I knew that this was the piece to be added this year to our Christmas collectibles. The piece sits perfectly on our mantle snuggled in with the other decorations collected over the years.
When I first took A Season of Joy and Togetherness out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the figurine. I expected the figuring to be smaller, but it is a wonderful size.
I love what I see when I look at A Season of Joy and Togetherness….. I see two characters in love, with a loving smile between them as they carry their freshly cut Christmas tree home. The tree they just cut represents a Christmas tradition that they share and love. As I look at the figurine, I can almost smell the hot chocolate that they must have enjoyed to warm up after getting their tree and I hear Christmas carols playing in the background. I picture the fire is roaring back home, just waiting for Mickey and Minnie to arrive with their Christmas tree. The ornaments are there, waiting to be placed with love on the tree.
Simply put, A Season of Joy and Togetherness captures the feeling of Christmas and family for me. It is a wonderfully detailed collectible piece of art, that is perfect as the newest addition to our holiday decor and our Precious Moments collection. I actually highly doubt that this piece will get packed away at the end of the season, but rather, has easily earned a special spot in our year round collectible display in the dining room. It is simply too beautiful to put away.
I have always been a fan of Precious Moments and their line of collectible pieces. I love looking through their website and can often get lost for hours admiring all their wonderful pieces. I find it hard to decide which piece will be added to our collection next, but this year, A Season of Joy and Togetherness just spoke to me and I knew right away that this was the piece we needed for our collection next.
