Back to School with Kelloggs

Back to School with Kelloggs

September 7, 2016 By MomMomOnTheGo

Today was the first full day back to school for my Little One. That meant it was back to packing a healthy lunch for my Little One that is full of great products that she will actually eat.

One thing that I can always count on being gobbled up is fruit and healthy bars. Who do I turn to for our healthy lunch time bars, Kellogg’s.

One of the newest products from Kellogg’s is a spin on an all time favorite, Rice Krispies Squares, but now they are available in brown rice.

Introducing new Rice Krispies Squares* Brown Rice Bars made with no artificial colours. The same ooey gooey taste kids know and love with the goodness of Brown Rice. These bars contain 8 g of whole grain per serving (20 g), Kids will love them, and so will Moms!

It is absolutely true that not only does my Little One love them, but so do I. 🙂

I taste tested the Rice Krispies Squares made out of brown rice and I could not tell a difference. They were the same awesome taste and texture as far as I could tell. I gave one to my Little One and she thought I just gave her the same type of Rice Krispies Square as always. She loved them.

Another great back to school snack are the two new Nutri-Grain Fruit and Nut Medley Bars. They are available in a Harvest Blueberries and Mixed Nut mix as well as an Orchard Cherries and Almond mix.

Nutri Grain Orchard Cherries and Almond

Introducing new Nutri-Grain* Fruit & Nut Medley bars made with delicious real ingredients you can see and no artificial flavours or colours. Real fruit and nuts make up half the bar, along with crispy puffed rice and whole grain gluten-free oats. Available in Harvest Blueberries & Mixed Nuts, and Orchard Cherries & Almonds.

We have tried both Nutri-Grain Nut Medley bars and they are both great tasting.

I sure find that keeping lunch time exciting and full of things my Little One does not get bored of tough. As long as I have some great healthy snacks in there, I know that she will get enough fuel to get through her day. I am very happy that my Little One loves the line of Kellogg’s products, so I know that there is at least one thing that I can rely on when packing her lunch.

I am so excited about these awesome new Kellogg’s products, that I want to help fill your little one’s lunch kit. So here is a great giveaway for a Kellogg’s Canada back to school prize pack that will contain the products pictured here….

I like to pack different fruits and vegetable combinations, and I like to cut the sandwiches into interesting shapes thanks to Pinterest.

Ask the kids what they want to eat for lunch and make sure you give them something different everyday. Variety is key!

I let them decorate healthy homemade muffins like they are cupcakes to make them more enticing.
