Stepping Into Space
Stepping Into Space is a 24 piece floor puzzle for ages 3 and older. The puzzle pieces are quite large and perfect for little hands to be able to hold and manipulate.’
If you take a close look at the box of Stepping Into Space, you will see an outline of the actual puzzle piece size on the box. The puzzle pieces are larger than the size of my hand.
From the 24 piece puzzle sets recommended for ages 3 and older, the next puzzle size is 35 pieces for ages 4 and older, then 49 pieces for ages 5 and older, 100 pieces for ages 6 and older, and the next puzzle size of 150 pieces for ages 7 and older is the next puzzle we checked out…

There is also a 200 piece puzzle recommended for ages 8 and up. This of course in no way summarizes all the Ravensburger puzzle types available as there are numerous from 24 piece puzzles to a puzzle with 40320 pieces! So there is variety indeed, it is just some are recommended for children and other puzzles are adult puzzles. I have to admit that I am tempted to try the 40320 piece Memorable Disney Moments Ravensburger puzzle. It looks gorgeous and challenging.
Out of the two puzzles that we checked out, I agree with the age rankings. I think that based on the number of puzzle pieces and size of the puzzle pieces that Ravensburger has the age rankings for each of the puzzles right.
