I find that over the years, it more difficult to think of a great Father’s Day gift for my dad. He seems to just always have everything he needs or wants. I have also found that more personal gifts seem to mean a lot more to both my parents as they get older. So this year, I am exploring the options available on Fujifilm Printlife.
Shhh…don’t tell anyone, but I already placed an order on Fujifilm Printlife. I am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for my product to arrive, so I cannot tell you what I think of the product just yet, but I will let everyone know my thoughts when it arrives.
What I like about Fujifilm Printlife is that once I knew what picture I wanted to be printed and the format I wanted it printed in, it took minutes for me to place and complete the order.

It seems these days with the digital era that many of our memories are sitting in the cloud. I really love getting my memories printed and have done many different products over the years from photobooks, mugs, calendars, and canvas prints. I love the memories coming to life to be cherished.
The hardest part of the process is deciding on the photo or photos and the product. Once you have those decided, it is smoother sailing from then on.
Here are a few tips about the Fujifilm Printlife process for various items:
- Once the image has been uploaded, you cannot go back to change size/color/cover/etc. so make sure you click the right product before customizing
- FujiFilm PrintLife does not offer many templates to users. If you are looking to create a more complex product, it is recommended to create your design on another application and then upload the jpg image to the site.
- Dakis – Once you’re on Dakis creating something (like a photobook) you can use “layout,” to place images on the page for you. Please note that once you place an image onto the page using a layout template, it will automatically crop the image into the template size and you will be unable to uncrop it.
This year for Father’s Day, dust off that cloud and explore those photos. Bring a memory to life again that can be cherished for years to come.
