Encore Dance Academy is having a Family Fun day on August 28th, 2011 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. They will have free hot dogs and drinks, a dunk tank, face painting, a bouncy castle, cotton candy & popcorn for sale as well as a kids stuff and dance swap.
If you wish you can rent a table for the Kids Stuff & Dance Swap. In order to rent a table, please either contact Encore Dance Academy on Facebook, call their office at 604.468.7400, or email Barb at Encore Dance Academy.
Table fees are $20 and you can sell new or used dance and kid related items. Families are also permitted to share a table. Please ensure that you will have someone manning your table at all times.
For everyone in the community, this is a great chance to go by Encore Dance Academy and check the Studio out, have some fun and even get a few items at really great prices.
If you are not familiar with where Encore Dance Academy is, their address is 8-3160 Westwood Street, Port Coquitlam. It is a hop, skip and a jump from Coquitlam Centre.
Our girls take their dance classes at Encore Dance Academy and I have to say that I personally love all their instructors and staff. I find their prices more than reasonable.
I often hear other parents from other dance schools complaining about the cost of their children’s dance costumes. We personally never feel that we have to put out outrageous amounts of money for costumes. As a matter of fact, we actually received a credit back on our costume deposit last year for our one child and the deposit was much lower than what I overheard other parents saying they had to pay for costumes at other dance schools.
The other thing I really love about Encore Dance Academy is that we do not pay for our girls costumes just so they wear them for one recital at the end of the year. Encore Dance Academy has their classes, where applicable, participate in competitions. I can tell you from experience that these competitions not only made us feel good about the amount of use we got out of the costumes we purchased, but it was such an amazing experience for our daughter to be on stage dancing. Our daughter felt a lot of pride, accomplishment and it really built her confidence. I was almost in tears each time we went and watched her compete because I could see how the experience was allowing her to grow as a person.
I am very fond of Encore Dance Academy and you will see my family there on Family Fun Day. I have also purchased a table to sell items. All my items are new and I will make sure that everyone gets a really good deal.
