One of the most sought-after toy products the last couple of holiday seasons has been Hatchimals. We checked out Hatchimals when they first came out and my Little One adores them. One of the newest Hatchimal products is the Hatchimals Surprise Giraven.
The Hatchimals Surprise Giraven comes in a bigger egg than the original Hathimals and you get two adorable critters in the egg once it hatches.
Hatchimals Surprise are finally here and they have an unEGG-spected treat in store for you! For the first time ever, you can hatch TWO adorable Hatchimals! These loveable twins are hidden inside a magical speckled egg. Use your love and care to help them hatch! Hold and play with your egg and the Hatchimals inside will make delightful sounds that tell you how they feel! When its time to hatch, you’ll see rainbow eyes! Once your first Hatchimal has pushed its way out of the egg, lift your second Hatchimal out and let the fun begin! Each twin has a unique personality! One twin loves to move, while the other twin can repeat whatever you say! Raise them from baby to toddler to kid and they’ll learn new things at each stage! Your twins will talk, dance, sing, tell jokes, play games and more! These Hatchimals love to interact with each other! They’ll say “I love you” and, like any siblings, they’ll even bicker! Inside each Hatchimals Surprise you’ll find magical, adorable creatures! Who will you hatch?
Here is my Little One holiday her Hatchimals egg working to get it to hatch…
It did not take very long for my Little One’s Hatchimals Surprise Giraven to start to hatch. To make the Hatchimals hatch you rub the bottom of the egg, tilt it, and hold it. In order to get the Hatchimals to hatch, you have to be holding and playing with it while in the egg. Then when you see the rainbow eyes through the egg, you know that your Hatchimals is about to hatch.
Once hatched, kids play with their Hatchimals Surprise Giraven and grow them through baby, toddler, and kid stages. AT each stage, new games and ways to interact get unlocked.
The Hatchimals Surprise Giraven sets hatch out two Hatchimals. Only one of the two Hatchimals in the twin packs moves. With each of the Hatchimals in the twin packs having different functional abilities, they each take a different type of batteries. Twin A that can move, takes 2 “AA” batteries. Twin B that does not move, takes 3 button batteries.
The Hatchimals Surprise Giraven do have an on and off switch on the bottom of the Hatchimals. Parents are smiling here. I like products that have on and off switches over ones you have to wait for them to go into sleep mode.
The Hatchimals Surprise Giraven also have the ability to be reset to baby mode and to half volume mode.
I also like that there is a built in notifier to let you know when the batteries are low. Twin A’s eyes will flash red and orange and Twin B’s eyes will flash dim blue and will start to beep when their batteries are low.
The twins can play games together or individually. If you wish to play the games with both Hatchimals, you need to make sure that they are facing each other and ress and hold one of their noses. It they are not faving each other you will enter individual game mode.
Types of Games in Kid Mode:
Twin A
Tag
Hatchimal Says
Twin B
Silly Sounds
Psychic Hatchimal
Twim Games
Serenade
Freeze Tag
Harmonize
Interactions you do with the Hatchmals also have them react in different ways. For example, in baby mode, if they have the hiccups, you clap to scare their hiccups away.
In toddler mode, Twin A is the musical Hatchimals and Twin B is the talkative Hatchimals.
There is really a lot to go on and on about with the all-new Hatchimals Surprise Giraven. If you have a little one ages 5 years old and up, this is a product that you have probably already have heard about and are probably being asked for.
Hatchimals can be found at Walmart, Toys R US, Amazon, Target, Kmart, and the Spinmaster online store.
