My Little One and I both have our own Hibermate. We have been using them ever since they arrive a couple of weeks ago. Our Hibermates really got put to the test when we went away for a hockey tournament this past weekend. We were staying in a hotel with a ton of female hockey teams in it. There were girls running, screaming, and staying up really late, but we were sound asleep thanks to our Hibermates.

The first set is the soft Protein leather ‘doughnut’ shaped ear cushions. They’re perfect for travelling and sitting upright use.

Hibermates are super comfortable. I have found that you can use Hibermate without the eye mask covering your eyes. For periods where I have wanted the eye mask off, I have been able to just have it up on my forehead and the ear cushions still stay in place.
Both sets of ear cushions are comfortable. My recommendation would be to put both to the test and use the one that suits you best based on the position you sleep in. I am a side and back sleeper and I find both ear cushions are comfortable. I tend to keep the doughnut version on my Hibermate as I like how they cup my ears.
I am impressed with the quality of the workmanship and materials for our Hibermates. The mask does not make me overheat at all. It is a silky, soft, smooth material that breaths. I also do not get overheated with the ear cushions.
With Hibermate on, my Little One falls asleep a lot faster than before. The light and noise are blocked out so she does not suffer the disturbances she was having to try to endure and ignore to fall asleep without Hibermate. I also find that I fall asleep a lot quicker with Hibermate on. Both of us have felt more rested and feel we are getting better and longer sleep with Hibermate.
