For the second year in a row, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies is partnering with The Salvation Army for the #TreatsforToys program.
The Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsforToys program helps bring a smile to children in need by encouraging Canadians to make a toy shaped Rice Krispies treat and share a picture of it on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook using the #TreatsforToys hashtag. For every image uploaded from now until December 24, 2014, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies will donate $20 to The Salvation Army to buy a toy for a child in need during the festive season.
MomMomOnTheGo and her Little One are supporting the #TreatsForToys cause and spent an evening creating. Of course my Little One saw the recipe for a princess and well, a princess it was…..
Our princess had gummy worm hair, a gummy circle wand, jelly bean and fondant dress, and of course a candy corn crown.
We had a lot of fun making our princess. We also enjoyed eating Rice Krispies squares.
If you want a bit of inspiration for your #TreatsForToys, check out the amazing recipes on the Kellogg’s Canada website.
Next on our list of want to make is the Rice Krispies Christmas cottage.
