My Little One just turned 7 years old and is in grade 1. She has a love for math and gets really excited about showing me all that she knows. As a mom, I feel pretty lucky that she loves math so much, because this is an academic area that some of our other older kids struggle in.
Of course, it always helps to make a subject fun. Learning while playing an educational games or using educational products always makes learning a lot more exciting. If you follow MomMomOnTheGo regularly, you will know that I am always in support of educational products and games. Let’s face it, if you have a few great educational tools at home to help you as the parent assist your child, then everyone’s job is not only a little easier, but it can be a lot more fun.
I like learning with smiles, not frustration and tears. If you want math learning made fun, then you have to check out Make A Splash from Learning Resources.

With our Make A Splash I heard phrases like the following:
Now watch as I can count by tens….
Oh let me add and subtract for you….
Watch now while I count backwards….
We have a lot of fun with Make A Splash. It works wonderful for counting, adding, subtracting and math word problems.
Here is what I like about Make A Splash:
*Easy set up. Child may need help as the dice blow up.
*Easy to store.
*Easy to clean. Just wipe it down as it is made of plastic.
*Big so allows for a great visual for the child.
*So many pieces that there are ample for everything we did.
*It makes math fun, fun, fun!
I do not have any cons for Make A Splash. I tried to think of something I would add or change and I could not think of anything. I think that Learning Resources got it right with Make A Splash.
I am always very excited to run giveaways for educational products and that is the case here. One lucky MomMomOnTheGo fan will be the winner of their very own Make A Splash.
