
The Massey Theatre is bringing an all-inclusive day of arts activities and live theatre performances for the whole family to enjoy. There is something for everyone. The day includes theatre performances for young children with Axis Theatre’s Th’owxiya: The Hungry Feast Dish, a First Nations story by Joseph Dandurand Confessions of a Grocery Store Clerk, a musical comedy by Capricorn Theatre for youth, and The New Conformity by Cause and Effect Circus and magician / comedian Travis Bernhardt sharing a program, a show for all ages featuring comedy, magic, circus skills and juggling acts.
In addition to the ticketed events listed below, there are FREE creative family activities in the Lobby and the Plaskett Gallery from 11am – 5pm.

Th’owxiya: The Hungry Feast Dish retells the First Nations story The Wild Woman of the Woods, through mask, music and physical theatre
2pm – Youth Theatre – Confessions of a Grocery Store Clerk – Capricorn Theatre Productions Confessions of a Grocery Store Clerk is a musical comedy that follows the lives of five grocery store employees. A true to life journey through the lives and experiences of these five young women. Some mature subject matter.
7pm – The New Conformity by Cause & Effect Circus and Travis Bernhardt’s comedic magic
Cause & Effect bring their award winning theatrical social commentary packed with high-level circus skills, smashing the audience’s preconceptions of the juggling arts. Travis Bernhardt blends sardonic humour with his own mind boggling magic, cleverly mixing big laughs with awesome tricks.
