The most recent Nancy B product that we have tested out is the Nancy B’s Science Club Discover Lab Pens & Field Journal.
The Big Idea
Two multi-tool pens are perfect for exploring on land and in water! The Nancy B line of products are very well made and durable. The pens are easy to clean which is a bonus because they are meant for storing items discovered while exploring. 🙂 My Little One even came up with hers full of wax and I was able to easily clean it. She learned quite quickly that wax hardens once cooled! :0
Of course the pens are awesome for exploration in the park, trails, or forest. There are spots in each of the pens for storing dry items or liquid samples.
The built in magnifier also helps for close up exploration.
I love the activity journals that the Nancy B products come with. The journals help suggest scientific activities for your little one to try with their new product.
I recommend that you make cleaning the pens out after each exploration because you never know what your little scientist has carried in their pens. 🙂
The Nancy B Discovery Pens encourage learning. The Discovery Pens get your Little One thinking about things around them and taking a closer look at them so that they are learning and having fun all at the same time.
I recommend the Nancy B Discovery Pens for ages 7 and older. Any younger and your little one will can use the product with your guidance. However, there are pieces that are a choking hazard so I do not recommend the Nancy B Discovery Pens for younger children.
I really love Educational Insights and one of my favorite products that they have are the Nancy B products. I just love how well made the Nancy B products are, how they encourage learning, and how my Little One loves them because of how fun they are.
