I recently came across OrigAudio and their amazing products. Their products are pretty interesting and I was instantly drawn to the Rock-It 2.0.
By the image alone it is not clear what exactly the Rock-It 2.0 is, but it is a portable vibration speaker. For those that are not familiar with what portable vibration speakers are, what they do is turn basically ANYTHING into a speaker. Yes, that small rocket shaped object that can fit in your hand, plugs into your audio device and acts like a speaker.
What you do to get the Rock It rocking is the following:
1. Put batteries into the Rock-It (2 triple A that you have) or plug it in via USB.
2. Plug the Rock It into your audio device that has a speaker jack.
3. Turn on the Rock It.
4. Stick the Rock It sticky pad to a surface.
5. Start the music on your audio device.
I found that the Rock It works best with hollow objects such as boxes that the sound can vibrate around in. I also found that the bigger the object, the louder the sound. I have to admit that it is pretty fun running around the house sticking the Rock It to various objects to see how it plays. All my kids ages 5, 9 and 17 love the Rock It and yes, we have more on order and on their way here.
I really do not have a bad thing to say about the Rock It. Some might ask what you do when the sticky pad looses its stickiness. All you have to do is wet your finger and wipe it clean with a bit of water. Once the sticky pad is cleaned it is sticky again. The Rock It does come with extra sticky pads though just in case and you can order more from their website for a very reasonable price.
Watch this awesome video from OrigAudio to see just how great this product is.
In case you were still wondering about OrigAudio and just how good their products might be then check out their Press Page where you will see the long list of places they have been featured for their various products. You will even notice that the Rock It was featured on a Shark Tank Episode and one of the “Sharks” invested in them.
Courtesy of OrigAudio, one of my lucky fans is going to be a winner of a Rock It 2.0. This contest is open to residents of Canada who are over the age of 18 years old. Contest closes on March 8th, 2012 at 12:01 am EST.
Disclosure: I was provided a Rock It bu OrigAudio for the purpose of this review, but I have since ordered two more Rock Its at my own cost and am awaiting their arrival.
