I always like to try natural remedies and products for varying health issues or concerns. I am the type of person that prefers to not have to rely on prescribed medicine. Having said that, I always recommend that you check with your doctor before trying any product.
With my latest struggle with headaches, ongoing back issues, and my more recent pneumonia, I have been testing out Relief MD by Trusted Health Products. Of course I am following all my doctor’s orders, but have also added the Relief MD to my regime.
Here is a bit about Relief MD first….

Best to apply immediately after burns and insect bites, stings, workouts, bruises and sprains. You should consult with a healthcare professional before starting any natural products.
INGREDIENTS
Almond – is used in skin care because it acts as an emollient (softening and soothing the skin), as a remedy for dry skin conditions, and as a relief for irritation, inflammation, and itching. These excellent emollient properties help the skin to balance its loss and absorption of moisture. Almond oil is also used in the medical field to help treat various forms of dermatitis.
Eucalyptus – is a powerful antiseptic, helps with nausea, suppresses coughs, and has strong germicidal and disinfectant properties. It stimulates the blood flow which directs more healthy oxygen to the brain and to the point of application.
Peppermint – has anti-microbial, fungicidal, and bactericidal actions. For medicinal uses, studies have shown peppermint oil to be effective as an analgesic, a tonic, an antispasmodic, and for daytime sleepiness. When combined with eucalyptus oil, the two are well-known for their positive efficacy to treat headaches and relieve pain.
Wintergreen (Methyl Salicylate) – is accepted by the U.S Food and Drug Administration as an over-the-counter external analgesic, primarily intended to relieve mild muscle and joint pain. Has anti-inflammatory properties and is used in topical pain relievers and products that produce a feeling of warmth.
Camphor – is antiseptic, analgesic and antispasmodic. Germany has approved Camphor for the treatment of rheumatism (externally). Camphor oil is applied to the skin to promote circulation and to relieve itching.
Spearmint – is generally used for its anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic properties, and in skin care, it is used as an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.
Olive – Olive oil has been used to nourish and moisturize skin.
Okay so I have to admit that I was surprised when I received my Relief MD that states it is a massage in a bottle. You actually do not use this product as a massage oil at all. Relief MD not used as a full body massage oil, but rather the botanicals help ‘massage’ out discomfort in areas of sore muscles, strains, sprains, aches, etc. when used as described above.
I have enjoyed using Relief MD when I have had headaches, sore muscles, and my pneumonia.
I think that the eucalyptus in the Relief MD is what I find appealing for helping with my lungs.
The smell of Relief MD is soothing to me when I have sore muscles and headaches. I do notice an improvement in my headaches when I use Relief MD.
I think that focusing on the nice smell of Relief MD helps to take my mind of back pain.
I put a swipe of Relief MD above my lip and on my forehead. I always do my forehead first so more is applied there and less is applied under my nose as the smell is quite strong and I do not want it to be overpowering, but pleasing.
It only takes a drop or two so do not put a lot on.
I personally find it difficult to cover the areas where you put the product unless you have time to rest in bed with a towel or facecloth to cover the areas, so I have to admit that I usually swipe it on and keep on going. I find it effective with my practice of applying and not covering.
If you have health conditions that Relief MD is intended for I suggest that you look into whether or not this is a product for you. As always, check with your doctor first.
You can try a bottle of Relief MD for the cost of shipping and handling only. That means that you can order a $19.97 bottle of Relief MD and only pay the $7.95 shipping and handling. This is a pretty great deal that allows you to see if this product is the right fit for you.
Relief MD is a product that I would order and use again based on the results that I felt I realized.
