If you have been using the Family By Sygic App, you may have noticed a little drain on your battery. To help solve this issue, make sure you do the most recent update for the App as they have worked on improving this issue.
One thing that everyone in the family is learning with the Family By Sygic App is about responsibility and safety. We know where each other is and can check in with each other. It really is a great way to know where your kids are.
I have always focused on teaching my kids about safety and responsibility and I thought we were doing a good job. Then about a week ago, I found out that our middle daughter started posting videos on YouTube of herself and our other kids. She also had an Instagram account and was posting photos and friending everyone. There were even a few creepy guys asking her to post photos of herself.
I was floored when I found all this out. We talk regularly about not friending anyone we did not know and never posting videos or photos. My jaw dropped when I learned that one of my daughters was doing exactly what she knew she was not supposed to be doing.
The recent events in our household made me fall in love even more with the Family By Sygic App. I think it truly helps teach kids about the responsibility of checking in and informing family members when you are going to be late. I feel a layer of safety knowing that I can turn to my phone to check if a family member has arrived at their destination or if they are leaving for home.
I think that this summer, with all the summer camps, I am going to love the connectivity that is available through the Family By Sygic App. One feature I really love is the messaging and it will only prove to be more and more useful.
