Super Duper Publications – All About You, All About Me

May 30, 2013 By MomMomOnTheGo

All About You, All About Me

All About You, All About Me is a great tool for teachers and parents. Teachers can help get to know their students through the questions on the cards. Parents can help to start conversations with their kids with the use of the cards.

There are really great questions, some of which are open-ended questions and they really help to explore more about your children’s thoughts and day. I cannot count the amount of times I have asked my kids how their day was, to only hear fine and nothing else. Then later that night or a few days later I found out this or that happened.

With All About You, All About Me, you can play it as a game, or just use them as a conversation starter for checking in and making sure you are in touch with what is current with your kids. The interesting part is asking some of the same questions after time has passed to see how they have grown and how their answer may have changed. I really like asking the questions such as “If you were to be an animal, which one would you be and why?” I also like the questions like “What do you like to learn about at school?”

If you have a little one that is kind of in a shell or even a chatty Cathy, the All About You, All About Me fun deck will be a blast for starting conversations up. I am amazed at how much you can learn about your children and their day when the questions are turned into a game that they enjoy. The great part is, that these cards can also teach your children to ask about you and your day as they also want a turn to ask a question. It really helps teach them about conversing.

I also love the affordability of the All About You, All About Me fun deck. At $12.95, I think it is a great price for what you are receiving. Super Duper Publications would like you to save even more though with Promo Code KSBLOG188 for 15% off your purchases at Super Duper Publications until June 30th, 2013.

The age rating for this product is PreK to 5, which I am assuming is meant as Pre Kindergarten to Age 5. My just turned 6 year old loves this product. I also find that some of the questions are great for my 10 year old, as a way to start up a conversation and find out what is new.

My overall recommendations for this product are that it is a great product for teachers and a good product for parents.

Here is the description of All About You, All About Me as per the Super Duper Publication’s website:

These questions and more will help your students sharpen their ability to ask and answer basic questions. Students can use the 56 question cards to talk about themselves and learn about others. The deck includes basic questions, open-ended questions, content cards, and game ideas. Use the cards one-on-one or share them as a group. Cards measure 2 ½” x
3 ½” and are stored in a sturdy storage tin.
