I recently came across a company that is new to me called Super Duper Publications. Super Duper Publication focuses on educational products for our children. If you follow me regularly, then you know that I really love educational products.
Here is a little history about super Duper Publications as quoted from their website…..
Sharon and Thomas Webber founded Super Duper® Publications in 1986 with two products and two types of stickers.
Sharon started creating easy-to-use therapy materials while working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the public schools. Thomas was a practicing attorney before focusing his talents on developing therapy materials also.
Fast forward 27 years – today, we’re making hundreds of creative, colorful educational and therapy materials that you and your children will love. (Believe it or not, we have as much fun making them as your kids will have learning with them!) Click here to read more about Sharon, Thomas, and the editors. Click here to Tour the Castle
Our Super Duper® staff members do their best every day to give you great customer help, speedy and careful delivery of your orders, and friendly help with any of your questions.
When I first discovered Super Duper Publications, I ended up being pleasantly entranced for quite some time, looking through their catalog of products and their website. I could try to list the products they sell, but there are so many that I suggest taking a peek at them yourself. The Super Super Publications website is broken down quite well so you can find your way around whether you are looking for Free Items, Specials, new items, popular items or more.
I was very excited to try out the Super Duper Publication game called Ring Bling.
The first time I came across the Ring Bling game on the Super Duper Publication website, I knew it would be a hit with my 5 year old. I was totally right. What little girl wouldn’t love a game that is made up of rings!
Playing a game has never been so fashionable!
Reward your students for following directions with Ring Bling. Students choose a card and act out the hilarious direction(s). Then they spin the spinner to earn one or two rings for their Happy Hand or give a ring to a friend. The student who earns the most rings wins the game. Ring Bling is ideal for teaching your students to listen and think creatively while pretending.
Your game has 50 Following Directions Cards in three categories:
Basic Directions – Beat your chest like an angry gorilla.
Conditional – If you like brownies, bark like a dog.
Temporal – After you wave your magic wand, turn yourself into a monkey.Ring Bling is the perfect motivator for articulation, language, reading, or math activities in the classroom, during therapy sessions, or at home.
Ring Bling includes:
4 Happy Hands
50 Following Directions activity cards (2″ x 3½”)
50 Rings
Spinner
Game ideas
Ring Bling is recommended for ages 5 years old and up. My soon to be 6 year old loves the game. It is very fun to play and will have everyone laughing and giggling. We have had our Ring Bling game for approximately three weeks and I have lost track of how often we have returned to play it because we have played it so much. My little one simply loves Ring Bling and asks to play it all the time.
You can play Ring Bling with two or more players. The more players, the more laughter there will be.
I did not use the Ring Bling game in a classroom setting, but I could see it going over well at school, especially with the girls. Since there are only 4 happy Hands that come with the original game, an addition pack would need to be purchased if you were to use it with more than 4 players. You can purchase extra Rings in a 50 pack and Extra Happy Hands in 4 packs.
I tested the Ring Bling game out with my girls. I would be interested to hear feedback from those that have young boys and if they enjoyed the game. There are definitely rings in the Ring Bling game that are geared towards boys and girls. The rings are everything from sparkly jewel rings to soccer rings and everything in between.
Please note that the game does poss a choking hazard for younger children so please follow the recommended age ranking. The game is ranked as not recommended for ages 3 and under due to the small parts in the game.
I would recommend the Ring Bling game in a heartbeat. Be ready to act like a monkey or pretend to put sunscreen. Also be ready for lots of laughs and giggles. The Ring Bling game is great fun for our family game night.
