We have used a Twooth Timer in our house and my little one who is now 6 loves it. I have to admit that the first time the bell went off, it kind of shocked us both as it is similar to an old alarm clock. I would love to see the twooth Timer have a softer bell or a song, something more relaxing than the alarm bell that goes off. Once we got used to the fact that the bell would ring quite loudly, we were all okay with it.
The Twooth Timer does help my little one to know when we have brushed for two minutes. There is no doubt that it is a great resource for making brushing time a lot more tolerable and even fun. My little one also has not tired of the Twooth Timer. She often asks for it.
The Twooth Timer is not as appealing to my 10 year old. She thinks it is too young for her even though she still needs a reminder to brush her teeth longer!
I understand that the company likely made the Twooth Timer a nice, white tooth to represent what our teeth should look like with good oral hygiene. However, I think that it would be great to have colorful Twooth Timers. My little one would love a pink one. It would also be great to have Official Twooth Timer stickers to help personalize or make a face on your Twooth Timer.
I do think that the Twooth Timer is a great product. My little one loves it and although we have never really had problems with brushing her teeth, the Twooth timer has ensured that we are brushing for long enough.
The Twooth Timer is also a Parent Tested Parent Approved award winner.
There are a number of brushing aid products that The Twooth Company sells along with the Twooth Timer and you can browse all their wonderful products on their Official Website.
