Vancouver Aquarium Summer AquaCamps

May 18, 2014 By MomMomOnTheGo

Registration is now open for the Aquarium’s summer experience of a lifetime. Vancouver Aquarium AquaCamps, taking place for students entering grades K-8 this fall (including full-day camps), is an amazing way for budding marine biologists to learn about their connection to aquatic life while creating lifelong memories. AquaCampers will get connected with the Vancouver Aquarium’s incredible animals and the Aquarium’s staff, including biologists, veterinarians and aquarists who are dedicated to caring for them.

Campers will search for shore crabs at the beach, visit animal experts and their friends behind the scenes, see the latest movie in the Goldcorp 4D theatre, pull plankton to view under microscopes, and learn how to reduce their carbon footprint through hands-on activities. There will be a full-day camp for children entering kindergarten to Grade 8. Extended care until 5:30 p.m. is also available for a nominal rate. Registration is open here for July and August day camps.
