PSST! Amopé Has a Flirty, Footsie Little Secret:
Millions of Canadian Women Tiptoe Around
Flirting with their FeetA woman’s feet can play a starring role in the romance department this Valentine’s Day, whether it’s playing footsie, sensual massage or simply canoodling in bed. Yet, a new national survey reveals Canadian women tiptoe timidly around flirting with their feet and toes and are not using them to their full, fun potential!
To help Canadian women get more ‘a-flirt-ive’ and show their feet some love, Amopé — a complete line of foot and nail care products designed to inspire and help women look and feel confident with every step — has created an entirely NEW Electronic Nail Care System and released an original Amopé Survey by Angus Reid* that reveals Canadian women are far less confident about their feet and toes than men.Amopé Survey Says…
o Nearly 2 million Canadian women avoid romantic situations that require their feet to be up close and personal, due to lack of confidence in the way their feet look and feel;
o Almost one quarter, 21 per cent, of Canadian men and women are open to the idea of toe sucking, yet a large percentage of women, 71 percent, are uncomfortable with the idea. Men are twice as willing to have their toes sucked, 28 per cent, vs. only 14 per cent of women.
“Canadian women tell us that having beautiful, well cared for feet and toenails makes a huge difference in their confidence, and this obviously extends to romantic interludes,” says Alyson Murphy, Brand Manager – Personal Care, RB Canada. “Their feet are the last thing women want to worry about during romantic moments, so we created our new Amopé Pedi Perfect Electronic Nail Care System to help women find the confidence needed to put their best feet, and toes, forward during the most romantic time of year,” she says.
Show Your Toes Some Love
This Valentine’s Day, Amopé encourages Canadian women to show their toes some love with the NEW Amopé Pedi Perfect Electronic Nail Care System (MSRP: $44.97 to $59.99). Amopé Helps Canadian Women Put Their Best Feet Forward
Love is in the air this Valentine’s Day and Amopé is committed to helping Canadian women improve their “Flirt Factor” by reminding them that feet can play an important role when flirting with their partner.
When engaging in foreplay, start from the bottom up with a little ‘foot play.’ Feet contain more nerve endings per square centimetre than anywhere else on the entire body.** By giving feet and toes the star treatment, Canadian women will feel more confident to flaunt their feet and be up close and personal.
Here are some timely, fun stats from the Amopé Survey on how Canadian women and men feel about their feet, toes and romance:
o What role do feet play in your love life?
o Almost one quarter of Canadian women indicate cuddling on the couch, 22 per cent;
o Only 6 per cent of Canadian women use their feet for romantic play;
o Only 5 per cent of women say feet play a starring role in intimate encounters compared to 10 per cent of men;
o Feet play an important role with Maritimers! 30 per cent of Maritimers say their feet play a role when cuddling on the couch compared to only 17 per cent of Quebecers.
