Bissell is making heads turn with their new Bissell Symphony All in One Vacuum and Steam Mop. Yes you heard that correctly, now you can vacuum and steam your floors at the same time. Music to my ears!
There is so much to tell you about the Bissell Symphony so let’s get right to the point……
Here is what I love about the Bissell Symphony:
*Lightweight
*Can vacuum, steam, or vacuum and steam at the same time.
*High and Low steam settings.
*Two cloths for different floor surfaces.
*Water tank large enough to do my entire main floor of my house.
*Quiet
*Maneuvers well.
*Easy to fill water tank.
*Easy to get cloths on and off the head.
*Picks up incredible amounts of dirt.
*Super easy to empty dirt container from vacuuming.
*Affordable
*Adjustable handle for different heights.
So let me expand on some of the above points now.
The Bissell Symphony is very lightweight especially considering it is a steam mop and vacuum all in one. The handle adjusts in height to allow for comfortable use for each individual. In the picture below, the handle is all the way down as compared to the first photo above where it was extended all the way up. I really love this feature. Not only dies the adjustable handle make it convenient for each user, but it also helps make storing it when it is not in use a lot easier for us.
The instructions indicate that the water tank lasts for approximately 15 minutes. The water tank visually looks small and before I used the unit, I wondered if it would last through getting the main floor of my 2600 square foot home done. I can report that the water tank is more than large enough and to date, each time I have used my Bissell Symphony, I have actually had water left over and still available for use in the water tank. I have never had to go for a refill yet.
I will note that I am mainly using my Bissell Symphony on laminate floors as that is what our entire main floor is, so I do use it on low. I have tried the high setting on the tile floors we have in our basement area, and it works awesome. The high setting naturally uses the water at a higher rate of speed, but I have always found the water tank more than large enough.
I have to also admit that I wondered if a unit that could vacuum and steam at the same time would have lost some abilities that a single similar unit can do. I am so excited to report that the Bissell Symphony has amazing stick vacuum cleaner and steam mop cleaning power. From my experience with my Bissell Symphony, there has been absolutely no loss of cleaning power by combining the two functions into one.
I really love how quiet the Bissell Symphony is. I thought I might be sporting new hearing protection, but happily not. The Bissell Symphony is quieter than any other stick vacuum that I have used, even with both the vacuum and the steam mop going at the same time. Even my kids do not complain that I am being too noisy when I am using my Bissell Symphony.
I have to mention that when I use the Bissell Symphony, that my floors dry fast. I used to have to tell the kids, “I am steaming the floors, so stay off them until they are dry.” I would have to chase the dogs and cats away from my steamed floors so I did not have little foot prints throughout the house. It was actually really frustrating for all of us. With my Bissell Symphony, my floors are dry within seconds. I love that.

Overall I love the Bissell Symphony. If I was to give feedback to Bissell on any way to improve the Symphony, I would ask for a longer power cord. I love long power cords that allow me to plug in and get the job done without have to unplug and plug in at a different outlet. With the current length of the Bissell Symphony cord, I cannot get my entire main floor done while plugged into one central plug. Having said that, the current length of the plug would never deter me from purchasing the Bissell Symphony.
