We recently had a family night out to go see Disney On Ice Dare to Dream in Vancouver, BC. There were 4 of us that attended the show, two adults and our 10 year old and 5 year old girls.
I have to admit up front that I have never seen a bad Disney anything especially Disney On Ice. We attend all the Disney On Ice performances that come our way and our family always finds them not only entertaining, but breathtaking. Disney On Ice Dare to Dream certainly lived up to all expectations and then some.
From the dimming of the lights to the last glimpse of the characters as they exited the ice, the crowd was cheering, clapping and enjoying every second of the show. My girls loved the show and of course our favorite part was Rapunzel. My little one was on the edge of her seat waiting for Rapunzel to appear and she was mesmerized once she saw her.
I do not want to give any of the show away for those waiting to see it, so all I will say is there are parts of the performance where even the adults will be saying “Wow.”
There is truly not a bad seat in the house at the Venue in Vancouver BC, being the Pacific Coliseum, where we saw Disney On Ice. If anything, with younger children I personally find it best to sit a litter higher up so that they can easily see the entire ice surface.
I do find the items for purchase at the performances a little on the expensive side. Having said that, there are items that are on the lower end of the spectrum for $6 such as the flag we purchased. I do think that it is always a great investment to spend the $20 for the program, for the awesome photos in it and the memories. This year the program was a great deal as there were two books in one at the regular $20 price.
We always recommend going to see Disney On Ice. Disney always puts on amazing shows. Disney always appears to go that extra mile when it comes to their shows and products and it really shows in their performances and sets.
