If I say Little Tikes what comes to mind? For many it is their amazing car that so many kids have owned or wished for. What also comes to my mind is quality.
Many Little Tikes products either encourage child development, imaginative play, or exercise.
The latest Little Tikes product that we checked out if the Light n Go 3 in 1 Activity Walker.
Now there are a ton of activity walkers on the market and I can say that I have not checked them all out by any means. I can say though, that I love the projected lights that the Light n Go activity walker has with movement. The lights project in front of the walker, encouraging little ones to move towards them.
The Light n Go grows with your little one from a sitting, low activity centre, to an upright taller activity center, and also as a mobile walker. So weather you are engaging your child in stationary play or trying to encourage movement, the Light n Go will adapt to the stage you need.
To transition from the various centres the legs either fold down for the sitting activity centre, or the table slides up for the standing activity centre. For the activity walker, the middle activity table portion if forward and in the front so it projects the lights forward onto the floor as your little one moves.
The Light n Go has over 70 songs, activities, and sounds, so there is a lot that can go on with the activity centre to keep the young ones engaged and learning.
I also like that the Light n Go is able to fold for not only the sitting play centre, but for storage.
Check out this Little Tikes video for a great idea of all that the Light n Go 3 in 1 Activity Walker can do…
There are three main things that I believe an activity centre/walker needs to keep little one’s engaged; sounds, colors, lights. The Light n Go 3 in 1 Activity Walker has all three of these things. Not only does the unit itself have wonderful colors all over it, but it projects colorful lights which I think is a home run feature all on its own. I mentioned the sounds the activity centre/walker has and with so many, it provides enough variation to keep kids entertained.
I like the plastic material of the entire unit so with a quick wipe down, you can be secure in keeping the unit clean, especially when messy hands have made their way to it. 🙂
The recommended age for the Light n Go is 9 months to 36 months. The Light n Go can be used by babies with their parent or by the older end of the recommended age spectrum on their own.
The Light n Go encourages learning with things like color identification on the colored keys. It taps into music and little ones can play the ‘piano’ with the few keys. There is a mirror in the one slide area for little one’s to see themselves in. There is a switch on the unit to slide to one of three settings to engage in a type of play and depending on the selection, you do various activities as mentioned above.
My Little One is way too old for the Light n Go, but with all the toy reviews she does for me, she is our Little Toy Expert. She thought that the Light n Go is awesome. Lots of sounds, lights and colors. The lights add the awesomeness to the product as compared to other products. She could not think of anything that she would add to the Light n Go.
I have always loved Little Tikes and their products. You can check out the entire line up of Little Tikes products, including the Light n Go, by visiting them here….
