*February 9th, 2016 11AM – 9PM

For a limited time, FlyOver Canada presents Flight of the Dragon, a flight ride experience that takes you over iconic Chinese sites. FlyOver Canada invites all guests to come and enjoy two virtual flight rides for the same admission price!

What to Expect

Start your experience off in our pre-show room, where you will see beautiful festive theming and still images of Chinese New Year celebrations. Then, buckle up your seatbelt and get prepared for the virtual flight ride. First, follow a mythical dragon as you soar over some of China’s most spectacular landscapes and scenery during Flight of the Dragon, a unique 6 minute flight ride experience. Then, stay seated and take off again to experience, the Ultimate Flying Ride, FlyOver Canada, a thrilling virtual flight ride that takes you across Canada from east-to-west. Both rides incorporate state of the art special effects including wind, scents and mist.

The complete experience will last between 20 – 25 minutes. You will experience beautiful Chinese New Year decorations inside and outside the attraction.

MomMomOnTheGo and crew headed out to FlyOver Canada Flight of the Dragon last night and we had an amazing time.

I have to let everyone know that my family really loves FlyOver Canada. We really love seeing the special FlyOver Canada shows that they have at Christmas time and Chinese New Year. I always recommend going to see FlyOver Canada, but if you can catch one of the double header special occasion celebration shows, then I recommend you definitely catch the show.

Since part of my family is Chinese and we celebrate Chinese New Year every year, the Flight of the Dragon show was very special to us as a start to our celebrations.

The venue allows for wonderful photo opportunities above and beyond the entertainment of the show itself.

FlyOver Canada

The pre-show is different than the normal FlyOver Canada pre-show. Instead of Up Lift, there is an introduction pertaining to Chinese New Year and this year being the year of the Monkey.

After the pre-show you receive the traditional flight instructions then are guided to your seats. Flight of the Dragon is the first show followed by FlyOver Canada. I never get tired of seeing FlyOver Canada. It is breathtaking.

Flight of the Dragon was breathtaking. I was in awe to see the landscape in Flight of the Dragon. The show was beautifully done. FlyOver Canada and Flight of the Dragon are both must see family events.

Two things to keep in mind are that children have to be 40 inches tall to go on the ride. I also recommend considering purchasing FastLane tickets so you do not have to wait in as long of a line up.
