One of the most common things for kids to do is collect things. They collect rocks, leaves, pine cones, all different types of cards, and of course toys. A child’s desire to collect, sort, and admire is the fuel behind many of the collectible collections that are on the market these days.
I love the collectible series of toys on the market because they allow a child to do many things….
*Save their money towards future purchase goals.
*Care for something of value to themselves.
*Track and record the pieces they have and need.
*Become aware of value level ranking from common to ultra rare.
There are just so many things these type of sets actually teach and tap into, but one of my favorite things is imaginative play.
The latest collectible set that peaked my Little One’s interest is TwoZies. TwoZies are sets of little collectible baby pieces, each with their own theme, and each with their own pet. One baby could be a penguin themed baby, with a penguin pet. Here is the important aspect about TwoZies, the babies and pets have been separated, so your little one needs to collect the sets and reunite them.
Right now Season 1 of TwoZies is on the market. You can purchase a wide variety of products from surprise packages, small piece sets, larger pieces sets, small play sets, and larger play sets. In the packaging there is always at least one surprise TwoZies which really increases the excitement in the products when opening them. My Little One can just never wait to find out what the surprise collectible piece is.
I like that the little squares for the TwoZies act as little shelves for them. You can connect them or even build a collectible display on the wall if this is something that you like to do. We don’t display them in this manner. It is easier to play with them when they are free and accessible.
I find that collectible toys just like TwoZies get a lot of play time when friends come over. It is a very common thing for the kids to want to see the collectible pieces and find out which ones my Little One has compared to their sets. There is “Oh I have that one” or “Oh I need that one still.” They can do tradzies between friends for doubles as well which the kids seem to have fun doing. I like tradzies because it teaches value to the kids. I hear things like this is a rare one so I want to trade it for a rare one, not a common one.
To find out whether the TwoZies is rare, common, or what its ranking is, you refer to the collectible print that comes with the pieces.
If you are wondering where to buy TwoZies, you can find them at your local Toys R Us. I have been seeing them pop up in stores everywhere now, so I would bet that your local toy store has them on their shelves.
Here is an awesome video that showcases how cute TwoZies are….
If you have a little collector in your house, make sure to check out TwoZies.
