Morphology

Morphology

Have you ever heard of the game called Morphology? If you have, then you probably already know how amazing fun it is. If you have never heard of it, then you are in for a treat so keep reading on.

The easiest way to explain Morphology is as being a guessing game where you tap into your creativity to help build the items that you draw on the cards.

When playing Morphology you have to first make your teams. The team with the youngest player gets to go first.

Once the teams are formed, you pick your Morphologist who is the person that is going to build the word on the card so that others can guess. No words allowed by the Morphologist! You only have one minute though, so work quickly building your item and get your team guessing. If your team guesses correctly then your frog gets to move on the board. The goal is to be the first team to the lily pad to win.

What do you get to use to build things? Well here are the contents of the game…..

Before you start playing the game, you agree whether you will use the easy or hard words that are found on each card. I really like that there are these two levels of difficulty so that the game can be adapted depending on who is playing. My suggestion is that if you have different ability players, you can have one team using the hard words and the other using the easy words so that it makes the game more balanced.

So what can you build with the items provided? Well with a little creativity, everything on the cards.

Here is what MomMomOnTheGo loves about Morphology:

*Fun for the entire family.
*Creates laughter
*Taps into your creative side.
*Adaptable to level of challenge you wish to have.
*Easy to setup.
*Easy rules, so easy to play.

Morphology is a really fun, action packed game that the entire family can have laughs playing. It is a great family night game.

The age ranking for Morphology is ages 8 years old and up. My Little One who is 7 years old is more than capable and interested in playing the game. If you have a player that is younger and you are unsure if they can play, I suggest putting them on a team where they will have lots of help.

There are other aspects within the game as you play such as free play, everybody plays, Pick 5, Morph, and more. All these aspects throw a twist or turn into the game to keep it even more exciting.

MomMomOnTheGo recommends that you check out Morphology for your family game nights.
