YVR to Host 4th Annual Quest Hamper Drive Richmond, B.C. (December 1, 2014): The Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is hosting its annual Holiday Hamper Drive in support of Quest Food Exchange. The drive is a great opportunity for the airport community to rally together and donate holiday spirit in the form of a turkey dinner to a family in need.
The goal this year is to help 500+ families and YVR is encouraging members of the local community to support this Hamper Drive by dropping off completed hamper(s) on December 11, 2014 and enjoy a visit from Santa, music, entertainment and free holiday goodies. For every hamper donated, the Vancouver Airport Authority will purchase one turkey to complete the dinner.

In collaboration with grocery stores, wholesalers, and distributors, Quest Food Exchange collects surplus food and other goods for use in various community programs. Quest operates four low cost grocery markets offering a full range of food to 400+ social service agencies and their clients for a fraction of the retail cost.
