During the weekend of January 24 and 25, Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre is partnering with Oahu Visitors Bureau and the Waikiki Aquarium to present Honu By The Sea – the musical.
Experience Hawaii in your own back yard, and enjoy a live performance of Honu by the Sea, an original Hawaiian musical, created by Disney-famed Enos Jonson that takes you on a journey with Kainoa, a Waikiki Beach Boy, as he meets Malia the Honu and her amazing ocean friends.
With colourful costumes, lively songs, and an all-Hawai‘i cast, Honu by the Sea promises to entertain audiences of all ages while imparting ways we can better care for the ocean we share.

In addition to musical performances, visitors can also enjoy Hawaiian themed family activities and Hawaiian food specials at the café throughout the weekend. Plus, don’t miss the chance to learn the story of our Honu, Schoona the green sea turtle (shows at 12:15pm and 3:00pm at the Shark Exhibit).
