Magformers – Light Show

September 20, 2015 By MomMomOnTheGo

I recently came across a product called Magformers that are magnetic building pieces. It sounds so simple, but yet the Magformers sets that are available are what seems endless with theme sets, sets with wheels, sets with pieces that light up, and much more…

As soon as I discovered Magformers, I was intrigued and knew that I had to check these sets out.

One of the sets that intrigued me was the Magformers Light Show set. I liked how the set came with a piece that lights up. This is a type of feature that makes the building set more than just a regular building set. The lighted cube allows for more creativity and imagination in creative building.

Magformers Light Show

Description

51 pieces, aged 3+, comes with lighted cube, rechargeable LED comes with USB cable. 6 new pyramid shaped elements

The Magformers Light Show set can be used by children ages 3 and up. There will need to be parental assistance when charging the LED cube though as the younger children will not be able to complete the charging task.

The magnets in the Magformers Light Show set are strong and when objects are built, the pieces really stay together.

There are also a ton of pieces in the Light Show set, with 51, so the combinations and creations seem endless.

Light Show

MAGFORMERS construction sets foster brain development through fun and educational exploration. With high quality, durable construction and intelligent magnetic design, the possibilities are endless!

The Magformers pieces are very well made. They are easy to clean if the need arises as well. The varied shapes provided in the Light Show set are great and allow for creative and imaginative play while working on fine motor skills.

Light Show

My Little One found the Light Show set very intriguing because of the uniqueness of this set by having the lighted cube. She also loved the combination of shapes and number of pieces as she did not feel like she was running out of pieces.

When I gave my Little One, who is 8 years old, the Magformers Lighted Show set, she was excited and sat down right away, playing, creating, and building with the set for hours. The Light Show set is a set that she has gone back to again and again as a building set that she likes to play with.

I love the Magformers Light Show set and think that it is a wonderful building set that gets kids thinking while building and creating.

Magformers has quite a few different sets and you can find out more about all their products here….
