I have reviewed the VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch about a year ago. Since that time, VTech has made some improvements to the Smartwatch and has produced the VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch DX.

The Kidizoom Smartwatch DX is still splash proof, has a rechargeable battery, and a touch screen.
The Kidizoom Smartwatch DX is available in purple and blue.
The recommended age for the Kidizoom Smartwatch DX is ages 4 and up. I think that the ideal age group for the Kidizoom Smartwatch DX is ages 5 to 7 years old. Younger kids aged 4 can use the watch, but will need help getting to learn all the things it can do. Older kids find the Smartwatch fun and interesting but tend to go get it to use as much as the younger kids in the 5 to 7 years old age category.
As with other VTech products such as these, it connects to the Learning Lodge where more content can be downloaded.

I like the added memory that they have included in the new Kidizoom Smartwatch DX because kids can really fill up the memory fast with photos and videos. I know that photos and taking video is one of the favorite things for my Little One to do.
The other new feature I like are the 8 new games. Love that they added an all time favorite of tic-tac-toe and that crazy dance, funky jump, and racing run which encourages kids to get moving.
If you have a little one, I recommend you check out the VTech Kidizoom Smartwatch DX. It is a great on the go toy that also has different aspects to encourage learning and being active.
