Despicable Me Minion The Game of Life

December 8, 2015 By MomMomOnTheGo

Family game night…we just do not get enough of these, but I do love it when we do get them. One of the latest games to enter into our lineup is the Despicable Me Minion The Game of Life.

The Game of Life Minion Edition

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Play The Game of Life with Despicable Me minions! Just choose your Minion, choose a job, and let the adventure begin. You’ll sing at Gru’s wedding, steal the Moon, and other wacky escapades – but watch out for the evil Minions as you try to bag 5 bunches of bananas! The mini-spinner might send you in an unexpected direction, but you can always get sneaky and slide through a tube to a new space. Will you beat the others to it… or will they steal your loot? You’ll find out when you play the Despicable Me version of The Game of Life!

The first thing to be aware of is that this is not the typical Game of Life. Instead of marriages, having little minions, and trying to become a millionaire, you are racing through to collect what Minions love the most…..bananas.

You have to open this game box knowing that you are not playing a traditional Game of Life board game. The game has been altered to reflect the Minions who are the characters in the game. Instead of jobs or marriages, your Minion pieces may steal the moon or do other wacky Minion type activities.

The Minions Edition of The Game of Life is also recommended for ages 5 plus. This game does not take long to play, anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 minutes, which I love. The game spinner goes as high as 6 and everything is $1. So the counting is easier for the younger crowd.

Despicable Me Minion The Game of Life Game Toys for Kids Hasbro Games

I think the Despicable Me Minion The Game of Life is really cute. You have to buy it for the intended audience though. Do not buy this game thinking that it is The Game of Life with just Minion pieces and for older kids because it not. It is a twist of the Game of Life to reflect the Minions and their personality and the game is aimed towards younger children.

If you want a cute, fun, and short game for family game night or that the younger ones can play, check out Despicable Me Minion The Game of Life.

You can find Despicable Me Minion The Game of Life at your local toy store or online at Amazon.
