Experience Splashdown at Guildford Mall

July 6, 2016 By MomMomOnTheGo

Splashdown comes indoors to Guildford Mall

Surrey, B.C. (July 4, 2016) After 33 years, Splashdown Park is closing its doors for good but before it closes, the park wants to give you a chance to win some tickets one last time and experience the slides like never before! You have a chance to experience the waterslides inside
Guildford Mall without getting wet. Wait…what?

On Thursday July 7th, find the Splashdown Park lifeguards at the upper level escalator near Purdy’s Chocolates to ride the 360 degree escalator and win 2 for 1 passes to the waterpark. The 360 video will simulate a water slide at Splashdown Park as you ride the escalator down.

Where: Guildford Mall, 10355 152 St, Surrey, BC (Escalator near Purdy’s Chocolates, beside Centre Court)

When: Thursday, July 7th, 2016

Time: 3 8pm

Splashdown Park has been a staple in the Lower Mainland since it first opened on July 1st, 1984. With 13 slides in total, the River Run and Blackhole are the popular slides in the park. “We hope we have been able to create fun memories of waterslides as part of growing up in the
lower mainland.” Many students had their first summer jobs at the park and many couples have met at the park while working. “There have been a lot of laughs, from annual charity events for Make A Wish to getting to meet great people over the year,” adds general manager Harold Frederiks.
