Playmobil Cruise Ship

May 29, 2017 By MomMomOnTheGo

We have recently had a Cruise Ship dock in our house and it has created quite the excitement. It is the Playmobil Cruise Ship 🙂

Hop abroad the PLAYMOBIL Cruise Ship for the holidays of your life. Be greeted by the ship’s captain, settle in your ensuitecabins, and decide which activity to do next: sliding down into the swimming pool, sunbathing on the sundeck or enjoying a meal at the bar. As the cruise sets sail, wave goodbye and enjoy the view.

Playset includes cruise ship with two ensuite bedrooms, reception desk, bar, fillable swimming pool, sun deck and cockpit, and many more accessories!

The Playmobil Cruise Ship is a 146 piece set. It comes with everything your little one could possibly need to set sail on an oceanic adventure. Please note though, that the cruise ship is meant to be docked on dry land, so do not put it into water. The lifeboat that comes with the ship can float in water and you can by a motor as an accessory to have it propelled.

The pool on the cruise ship deck can be filled with water, so there will be some splashing, good fun to be had. From my experience, kids love when they can add water to the playing equation. 🙂

The cruise ship expands by the lower deck pulling out. It cannot be removed though so do not try to remove it. When the lower deck pulls out, you have better access to the sleeping quarters.

Here are some other cruise ship features:

– Bridge is accessible through the doorway.
– Safety vests are stored in the box located in the bow area of the ship.
– Three safety vests included for the adult figures and two for the child figures.
– Figures are able to stand on the deck and hold onto the railing.
– Pool can be filled with water and removed for cleaning.
– Ladder leads to the slide and to the upper deck.
– Lifeboat can be lifted up and down by the swiveling arm.
– Lifeboat floats and can be upgraded with the underwater motor (item 7350) (NOT possbile with RC Underwater Motor item 5536).
– The Singer with Stage (item 6983) can be combined.
– Dimensions (LxWxH) cm: 74/76 x 36 x 33 cm
– Recommended for ages 6 and up.

This set is recommended for ages 4 and older because of the small pieces that pose a choking hazard.

The cruise ship was relatively easy to put together and if you lose the instructions, then you can easily find them online. I always find the hardest part putting the stickers on the sets. I am always so nervous when trying to line them up. :0

If you follow MomMomOnTheGo, then you already know that we are in LOVE with Playmobil. I love the adventures that my Little One sets out on when she has Playmobil in front of her. There is nothing better than seeing your child engaged in imaginative play.

The Playmobil Cruise Ship is easy to wipe down if need be. It is a wonderful size and comes with a great number of pieces to make the perfect adventure. The cruise ship is a great quality and meets the high standards that I have come to expect from the name Playmobil.

I also love that I find Playmobil more affordable than many of its competitors. You can also order the cruise ship online and get free shipping from Playmobil Canada.

Here is a video on how to build the Playmobil Cruise Ship as well, as it gives you an idea of the size of the playset…
