Surviving Infancy

Surviving Infancy - A Parent's Video Guide

Having a baby brings about a lot of questions and there are not many resources our there in video format that I have found for parents. Surviving Infancy is a great resource for helping you find answers to a lot of questions you have as a parent, grandparent or caregiver.

Please remember to always seek advice from your family doctor, but as an added resource, I really enjoyed the Surviving Infancy videos. I also could not believe how thorough the list of topics are that are covered in the video. I have never seen another video resource that covered so many topics.

I personally am old fashion and love having DVD’s, but I viewed the Surviving Infancy videos in streamlined video. I did enjoy the streamlined video option as I found it very convenient to watch the videos when all the TVs and DVD players were tied up in my house. I also liked that I could watch the streamlined video while resting in bed and with earphones on.

I had some personal favorite top three topics from the Surviving Infancy videos and they are as follows:

* Car Seats – I find that this is an are that is such a safety issue and that most parents know the least about.
* CPR – Everyone around a child should know CPR.
* Inconsolable Crying – Something that every caregiver has to deal with and that is probably one of the most stressful times and incidents you will have to deal with. How do you get through this difficult and heartwrenching time.

Do not expect to see anything on cloth diapering though, as this topic was overlooked in the videos.

Here is the summary of Surviving Infancy as quoted from their website………
