A whimsical new ballet with a uniquely Canadian twist, Ballet Jörgen’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream reimagines Shakespeare’s beloved comedy amidst the enchanting landscapes of Northern Canada, celebrating its beauty and spirit from the Northern Lights to the native fauna.
Set to Felix Mendelssohn’s iconic score, this new and original production by Bengt Jörgen brings the timeless tale of love, mischief, and magical fairies into a world of boreal forests, tundra skies, and woodland creatures.
This playful, family-friendly ballet captures the wonder of the wilderness and the timeless joy of Shakespeare’s story for audiences of all ages.
