The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back with another fun and free in-store experience, exclusively at Walmart Canada starting August 9th, 2013. At your local Walmart store, you will find an exclusive free Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles app game that allows fans to bring the Turtles to life on your mobile phones through Augmented Reality.
By downloading the free game “Swappz Augmented Reality” on the Apple App Store or Google Play, available in both English and French, parents and kids can visit Walmart stores in Canada from August 9th to August 22nd to find special Turtles signage throughout the store. The Exclusive App will provide a map for kids to follow on a treasure hunt throughout the store to find the Turtles signs, which will be placed on Turtles product displays in the Toy, Apparel, and Electronics sections.
By scanning the signs with your smart mobile devices (iOs or Android), the Turtles will “come to life” through Augmented Reality onto your smart phones and perform a variety of ninja moves. By unlocking each of the 4 Turtles heroes (Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael), kids will be able to play a fun Turtles trivia game to prove just how big of a fan of the Turtles that they are.
