Have you heard of Brobo? Until a little while ago, I had not heard of Brobo and I am so glad to have discovered this award winning product. But what is Brobo? It is as the company describes the product; The Cuddliest Night Light.
There are five different Brobo night light stuffies: Brobo (the original), Pep, Dog, Mumu and Trex. All the Brobo’s are 13 inches tall except for the dog that is 9 inches tall. They are all so adorable and it is hard to pick which one is my favorite.
We have Trex, which my Little One named Raury. Such an adorable name for a little dinosaur.
Trex is a soft orange dinosaur with a heart that shines. His big silly head makes him ideal for hugging. With his cute little tail and beanie hat, this 13-inch night-light plush is a great gift. We love you, Trex!
Swipe his right hand over his chest to activate his Shine Force light! There’s a bright mode for adventures, a dim mode for sleepy-time, and auto-off after 5 minutes, when you fall asleep.

I have checked our Brobo out and I can say that I think it is made to extremely high standards. I have no concerns about Brobo being in bed with my Little One all night long. Having said that, my Little One is 6 years old. But I can tell you that if my Little One was 18 months old, I would still be okay with her having it in bed with her all night long.
The Velcro closure that holds the battery compartment within the head of our Brobo is very strong and secure. I would not have concern over the compartment being accessed and with small ones, I would just not let them know that the compartment even exists.
Brobo takes 3 AA batteries which to me is not a lot at all. I can also report that the batteries seem to last forever in Brobo. We have had the same batteries in our Brobo for about a month and they are still going strong and that is after Brobo has been turned on a lot! Our Brobo gets used a lot and not just at night time. My Little One really loves Brobo so much that it often follows her around the house throughout the day.
One thing to note is that Brobo is not machine washable. As with any electronic parts, they cannot get wet, so make sure to only spot clean Brobo.
Brobo is very easy to use. Just swipe the right hand of the Brobo across the belly and the light comes on. Want a little dimmer of a light? No problem, just swipe the hand one more time and the bright light softens to a dim night light. To turn Brobo’s light off, just swipe his hand one more time and off the light goes. No worries about the batteries draining either because Brobo has a 5 minute automatic shut off time.
When you swipe Brobo’s hand across his belly he vibrates. My Little One likes that feature. I would like the option to deactivate the vibration. My Little One has been sleeping with Brobo and rolled over which made Brobo’s hand cross his body and turn the light on, which meant he also vibrated. Personally that would wake me, but I am happy to report that my Little One doesn’t even notice the vibration in her sleep. If it the vibration is a concern, your Brobo can always be at the head or foot of the bed instead of cuddled. Or you could slip it away when they fall asleep. I definitely think that it is not a reason to not purchase a Brobo, but it is an option that I would love to see included.
As I said above, Brobo has won a ton of awards including the Parent Tested Parent Approved award. I think that the Brobo is very deserving of the awards that it has one. This is an awesome product. My Little One uses Brobo as a flashlight to walk to my room through the night if she needs to come get me, she uses Brobo’s night light as she cuddles him to sleep, and she uses Brobo as a companion and imaginative play.
