The Baby Amaze Sleep & Soothe Lullaby Doll has a whopping 50 plus songs, phrases, melodies, and sounds.
A number of things on or with the doll triggers the sounds. The pacifier triggers baby sounds. The Moon button triggers the nighttime/bedtime sounds such as the lullaby. The Sun button triggers the daytime play.
The doll comes with a blanket, rattle, and pacifier.
The age ranking for this doll is ages 2 years old and up. I agree with this age recommendation.
I love the Sun and Moon buttons and that they mentally associate the appropriate actions/routines for that time of the day. I think that the Sun and Moon buttons along with the co relating actions/songs, can help encourage little ones into routine and appropriate times for play and rest. I really like the association of the actions to each of the buttons.
The doll runs on 2 AA batteries which I like as they are common sized batteries and not a ton are required.
The doll is soft and good for cuddling. The doll is also good for encouraging nurturing. Best of all, all these equate to a doll that encourages imaginative play and adventures that your little one can go on with her doll.
The MSRP is a good price point I think for this doll at $24.99. You can find the Baby Amaze Sleep & Soothe Lullaby Doll at your local Toys R US.
I love VTech and their line of products and the Baby Amaze Sleep & Soothe Lullaby Doll has not let me down at all. She is a great quality item with a ton of phrases to ensure your little one never gets bored.
