The first time I was ever introduced to Barney was probably 17 years ago with my niece. I loved Barney then and I still love Barney now. 17 years later, my little one loves the big purple dinosaur. I even know the words to most of the Barney songs. The songs are catchy and the programming and life lessons in the shows are great. I always love educational shows like Barney.
The age ranking for this 3 DVD set is ages 1 to 5. I agree with the age ranking. I think that all the songs, singing and friendships help keep kids engaged with Barney even in the higher age ranking age group.
I was so happy that these three DVD’s still live up to the quality programming that Barney has brought for so many years now. The titles themselves; We Love Our Family, You Can Be Anything, I Love My Friends, are indicative of the great life lessons included in the episodes. What better messages to reinforce than the importance of Family, Friends and a belief in yourself. I love it and so does my daughter who is 5.
