How do I remember things?
How much of me will survive beyond my lifetime?Tons of colorful graphics help convey the subject matter (from the inner workings of the brain to hormones and genetics) in a kid-friendly format. A glossary provides deeper understanding. Full-color illustrations throughout. (Ages 9 and older)
From the Reviews:
“Richard Platt takes the subject of being human and breaks it down into understandable and intriguing text and combines that with imagery and interactive pages kids can relate to. This unique book will get kids’ brains reeling as they come to comprehend more about what makes them unique from a scientific standpoint. This book covers important material kids won’t likely learn in school.”

The Ultimate Book About Me is recommended for ages 9 and older as per Barron’s. I felt that the book was perfect for my 7 year old, soon to be 8 year old daughter. It is a great book to read together and explore everything about our bodies and how things work. In the end, I think that children as young as 6 would enjoy reading the book with a parent and exploring some of the answers to their questions.
The illustrations in The Ultimate Book About Me are awesome. The book is very colorful and the illustrations help to show exactly what is being talked about and explained.
