MomMomOnTheGo and her Little One, who is now 8 years old, put the Blip Toys Zoom-O to the test.
First of all I have to say that we both agreed that we love the Blip Toys Zoom-O and think that most kids will. It is extremely fun to shoot the discs.
The discs go majorly far and I truly do not recommend that this toy is used in the house or you will be hunting for the discs all over. So take this fun outside in the backyard, or park where you have room to shoot the discs and see where they have gone.
The discs do soar high when shot up and far when shot out. They go out at a pretty good speed as well. Because of the speed of the discs, I agree with the recommended age of 5 years old and up. The kids need to be aware not to be shooting the discs at anyone for safety reasons.
If you get good enough, you can try shooting the discs and catching them. Talk about getting your exercise 🙂
The discs are super easy to place inside the unit and with just a trigger pull the battery operated until starts and sets them free. The unit seems well made and is super easy for smaller hands to hold the handle and pull the trigger. My Little One had the discs ripping all around or house as soon as we opened ours, with me following saying outside, outside toy while running and finding discs that were flying all over. LOL
I am not sure of the colors that the Blip Toys Zoom-O comes in, but there is the one pictured above in the red, blue and yellow. Ours is a lime green and purple one. I really love the line green and purple coloring in our Blip Toys Zoom-O.
I do recommend that you store the unit inside or somewhere where it will stay dry. As with all battery operated toys, if the batteries get wet, they will start to not work.
