SADDLE UP FOR A WEEKEND OF NON-STOP ENTERTAINMENT WHEN THE CLOVERDALE RODEO AND COUNTRY FAIR RETURNS MAY 16-19, 2014
Surrey, BC – It’s time to dust off the ol’ cowboy hat, buckle up those blue jeans and kick up your heels at the 68th annual Cloverdale Rodeo and 126th Country Fair, May 16-19, 2014. This May long weekend, the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair returns with its unique blend of rodeo action, live free-with-admission entertainment, fierce competition, and plenty of fun for the whole family.
The world’s top ranked cowboys and cowgirls are ready to compete for a total of $328,000 in cash prizes in four main events: Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding, Bareback and Ladies Barrel Racing. Cloverdale’s youngest riders will get their chance to shine when Mutton Bustin’ takes centre stage during all five Rodeo performances.
Families will have a blast in the Country Fair with the Kidz Zone, Agri Zone and Cone Zone, and visitors of all ages will enjoy the Classic Car Show, Lumberjack Show, Aboriginal Zone, Rib Fest and BBQ Competition, third annual World Freestyle Roundup Skateboarding Competition and BC’s largest travelling midway.
After the sun goes down, stay to enjoy live entertainment in the famous Longhorn Saloon, with nightly performances by Dr. Strangelove and Peter Ettinger & Big 50. Also catch amazing performances on the Outdoor Stage, where you can swoon to the likes of Stiletto, Ray Gibson, March Hare, Whiskey Jane, Runaway Lane, Chris Buck Band, and The Pop Junkies.

About the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair:
The Cloverdale Rodeo and Exhibition Association is the non-profit organization that manages the world famous Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair, held every year on the May long weekend at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds in Surrey, British Columbia.
