I earned my name as MomMomOnTheGo because our family is always on the go. With 6 people in our house, kids in multiple sports, and full time jobs, we are never really sitting still for any length of time. I know that many of you can relate and if you can, then you can relate to the limited time you have for making a great, healthy dinner your kids will love. Okay so I have to say that Philips, you are really limiting the exposure on your product by calling it a variety rice cooker. It makes it sound like it can handle all types of rice. The truth is, it can handle just about anything.

I have to admit that the Variety Cooker is a blessing for us. We don’t use it every night of course, but we do use it on those crazy, busy nights. We put everything in the Variety Cooker in the morning, set it to go and voila, dinner is served, warm, healthy and right on time whenever we are back home.
I cannot even express how much relief in our parental duties and day, that having the Variety Cooker has provided.

I always like to mention things I would like to see to make me love a product even more and here are a couple…
*I like being able to see the food cooking without having to open the unit so a little window in the top would make the unit even more awesome.
*I would love the unit to come with a lid for the inner pot, so I can take the pot and put it in the fridge with a lid.
Other than those two suggestions, the Philips Variety Rice Cooker is awesome. It comes with a number of accessories…

I could really go on and on about how much my Philips Variety Rice Cooker has made dinner a lot less stressful in our house. We have gone from thinking dinner again!!! to okay what are we creating for dinner tonight.
