Dreamland was written by a physician and her young daughter to help families deal with loss. Whether the loss of connection or the loss of a loved one, meeting in Dreamland, allows Niyah and her mother to share whimsical joy and each other.
Loss is a tough thing for kids to deal with. I know that my Little One has had a tough time processing loss of dogs, and people over the years.
Dreamland was written for young readers in mind by Dr. R. K. Dosanjh and her daughter, Niyah Lalli
Dreamland is a 20 page, hardcover book rated for kids ages 6 to 12 years old. I think that the message is great for kids in the age range, but the book is a beautifully illustrated book that will appeal to the younger kids within the recommended age range.
The book can be bought on Big Heart Publishing Inc. for $24.95 at the time of this review.
My Little One just turned 10 and when she saw Dreamland enter into our house, she was curious about it, so the colors and illustrations do grab the attention of kids. She thought the book was good and sat and read it from front to back without putting it down, so it maintained her curiosity with the content of the book.
