There is a new princess in town and her name is Elena of Avalor. Known for being bold, compassionate and taking charge, Elena of Avalor is the first Latin American Princess in the line of Disney products.
There are a number of Elena of Avalor products that I have seen available in stores and online and we checked out two of the doll products.
The first product is the standard princess doll that is typical in the princess series of dolls available through Disney. This version of Elena is called the Elena of Avalor Adventure Dress Doll.

I love when Disney introduces new characters. I think that with the increase in Disney characters out there, there is surely to be at least one that each child can relate to, love, adore, and be inspired by.
I love the messaging of being bold, compassionate, and taking charge that Elena of Avalor represents. I think that this is a perfect message and one that I want my Little One to be hearing and seeing.
The line of products for Elena of Avalor would not be complete without what I often refer to as a fancier version of the doll. There usually is one version of Disney dolls that has a sparklier, fancier, extravagant gown and Elena of Avalor comes in this version also with the Disney Elena of Avalor Royal Gown Doll.

Every princess needs her tiara and ball gown.
The details on this version of Elena of Avalor are just spectacular. She certainly looks ready for the most elegant ball at any castle around.
I could really go on about Elena of Avalor, but there really are three things I love:
*She is the first ever Latin American Disney Princess.
*She inspires imaginative play.
*She speaks the message of compassion, taking charge, and being bold.
Elena of Avalor is a wonderful addition to the doll and princess lineup for Disney. I hope that Disney keeps introducing new princesses and characters to help inspire our children.
