From now until April 12th, 2015, you can see two shows, Above USA and FlyOver Canada. If that wasn’t enough awesome news, FlyOver Canada has extended their Spring Break Special of saving 25% on child and youth tickets during weekday shows until April 3rd, 2015.
An important thing to take note of for FlyOver Canada is the height restrictions….
Children must be at least 102cms (40”) to enter FlyOver Canada (approximate height of average 4 year old child). Children (12 and under) must be accompanied by an adult or guardian aged 14 years or older.
I could not find information about “parent swapping” on the FlyOver Canada website, but while I was there the other day checking out the double show, I spoke to one of the FlyOver Canada representatives who explained that they do have a “parent swapping program.” So if you have a wee one that cannot FlyOver Canada due to the height restriction, I would still head on down as a family and ask them about taking turns going in to see the show. It was indicated to me that the smaller ones can see the pre-show with the rest of the family and then you can take turns taking your little ones that are tall enough in to FlyOver Canada.
If you have never been to FlyOver Canada before then I recommend that you check it out. My family has been countless times and we never get tired of going. We actually look forward to experiencing FlyOver Canada every single time we go.
We really love when they have special FlyOver Canada shows such as for Halloween and Christmas. We also really love the double header shows that they do around Chinese New Year and the latest one with Above USA.
Normally when you attend FlyOver Canada you see the one show after experiencing the pre-show Up Lift. With the double header that is on now, you start as always with seeing the pre-show. Then you go in and experience Above USA. The seats retract as if the show is over, but you stay buckled up and then experience FlyOver Canada.
Above USA was a great, new experience for us. We had never flown over the USA and it was very interesting to see the difference between the landscape of the USA and that of our beautiful country, Canada.
My family found that Above USA has a few more dips and turns than what is found in FlyOver Canada. It was pretty fun and their landscape of beautiful nighttime lights that popped up here and there was breathtaking. We love the look of the nighttime skyline.
My entire family agreed though that as far as beauty, FlyOver Canada is breathtaking. Every time we see FlyOver Canada we realize more and more just how amazingly beautiful a country we live in. I always leave FlyOver Canada inspired and in awe of the natural beauty of our amazing country.
If you have questions or concerns about the show, make sure to read the FlyOver Canada Safety & Security section.
We always attend with one person that is afraid of heights, and this time we attended with two members of our party that are afraid of heights, and they both loved the show and would do it again.
FlyOver Canada is worth attending even when it is a stand alone show. So if there is a double header, I really recommend that you head on down and check it out.
Remember that you can buy your FlyOver Canada tickets online to save.
If you have attended the show, I would love to hear what your thoughts are.
