Make sure your Samsung Galaxy S3 never runs out of power. This combination of stand, battery and battery charger lets you place your Samsung Galaxy S3 at a convenient angle for viewing texts, emails and videos while simultaneously charging the included battery. The charger features a standard microUSB port on the back and an LED status indicator so you know when your battery is being charged and also when it is fully charged.
The battery charger also incorporates a desk stand which allows you to keep your Samsung Galaxy S3 in an easy to view position so you can still answer your texts, emails and phone calls. The pack does includes a spare battery.
I cannot last without my SmartPhone. Wherever I go, my SmartPhone goes with me. I recently got a Samsung S3 and I am in LOVE with my phone. Of course I like to use my phone and anyone that owns a SmartPhone knows that the batteries do not last very long. So I wanted another battery and a way to charge the spare battery. Solution, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Extra Battery Kit.
The Samsung Galaxy Extra Batter Kit comes with the batter and the stand/charger station. It works with the existing charging cable that would have come with your Samsung S3 phone. The charging station acts as a stand and I have found that my phone only fits in the stand when it is out of the Otter Box case I have for it.
My Otter Box case is pretty thick though as I want to ensure my Samsung S3 is protected. A thinner case might allow you to use the Samsung Extra Battery Kit stand, but I have not tested this out.
I have read a ton of reviews about the Samsung Galaxy S3 Extra Battery Kit and their is one common complaint. Most people are not sure why the kit was not made to also charge the phone when in the stand. The spare battery tucks away into the back of the stand and charges away for you, but the phone does not charge while in the stand.
I am okay with my Samsung Galaxy S3 not charging in the stand and here is why….. When I got my Samsung Galaxy S3 I was told by the sales rep that the batteries last for about 400 charges. So my thought is that if I keep charging and unplugging my phone multiple times a day, I might be decreasing my batteries life?! I am not an expert in this area, but it seems that every time I am plugging my phone in and out, that I could be affecting the battery. I like to plug my phone in at night so it is charged in the morning. Then I like to use my phone until my battery runs out. When my battery runs out, I now have a spare battery waiting and fully charged. I am hoping that this process will prolong the life of my batteries.
I really love now that I do not have to worry about whether or not I have enough battery left. I can just use my Samsung Galaxy S3 as much as I wish and swap my ready and fully charged spare battery when need be.
With how expensive replacement batteries can be, I personally find that the Samsung Galaxy S3 Extra Battery Kit is a great price at $45.99. This price includes the extra battery and the charging station/phone stand.
Mobile Fun has a ton of mobile accessories. I love all the Samsung Galaxy S3 accessories.
