GlassesShop.com Review

May 19, 2013 By MomMomOnTheGo

GlassesShop

MomMomOnTheGo recently ordered a pair of glasses from GlassesShop.com. I found the selection amazing and the thing that took me the longest to get through was trying to narrow it down to just one pair of eyeglasses. From name brand to amazing weekly specials, there surely is a pair for everyone. I even found a specialized section for those that need a narrower fit.

I also absolutely love their try on feature where you can upload a picture of yourself and then virtually try on the glasses to see just how they will look on you. What a great feature to help make sure that you will love the pair of glasses that you order.

Let me tell you a little bit of history for you to appreciate the savings that we received from GlassesShop.com.

Our family goes for their routine eye check ups as per the recommended schedule, and this time around one of us was in need of a new pair of glasses because the prescription had changed. It isn’t a small prescription either. The quote for the lenses was $400, just to have the lenses in a frame. Yes, that did not even include the cost for a frame. I could hardly believe the cost. So when we found out about GlassesShop.com and the savings on their website we were quick to go take a look.

We browsed the glasses at GlassesShop.com, found the pair we were in love with and then just uploaded the prescription from the eye doctor. I didn’t want to worry about entering the correct prescription so I chose their option to just upload the current prescription. It was so easy.

In the end, the cost for the stylish glasses we received was just over $100 for the frames and lenses. We could have spent even less, but we chose to spend that amount because we fell in love with a specific frame. GlassesShop.com right now has a $5 weekly special frame. Yes, a frame for $5 and they are pretty stylish and nice.

Shipping costs are very reasonable and affordable and you can view all the shipping details on their Shipping page.

I found that we had to wait quite a while for our glasses to arrive. I do not remember the exact time frame, but it was about a month. Even the company was contacting me asking if we had received them yet, because they were surprised that they had not arrived. Maybe it was an anomaly that our glasses took so long to arrive. Even so, I am always willing to wait a little extra if it means such a huge savings.

I recommend that you give GlassesShop.com a try. Take a look a their selection, use their virtual try on feature and have fun browsing everything from name brand glasses to super savings deals. Want sunglasses? GlassesShop.com has sunglasses as well.

Don;t just take my opinion into account though, take a look at what Good HouseKeeping had to say about GlassesShop.com.
