Goh Ballet’s Performance of The Nutcracker Returns to Vancouver to
Showcase the Timeless Grace of the BalletVancouver, BC- Goh Ballet’s critically acclaimed production of the beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker, returns for 2015 to The Centre in downtown Vancouver from December 17th to 22nd.
Now in it’s 7th year, Goh Ballet’s The Nutcracker will feature performances by both local and international professionals, including Principal Dancers from the San Francisco Ballet as well as the Pacific Northwest Ballet, with choreography by the iconic Anna-Marie Holmes. Musical accompaniment for these world-class performances will be performed by members of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, led by the incomparable Leslie Dala, with lighting design by Canadian Pierre Lavoie.
The Nutcracker is one of the world’s most recognized ballets, cherished by both children and adults alike. Originally scored by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, the Nutcracker debuted in 1892 and has since become a tradition for the holiday season, beloved by families across the world.
