Google Chromecast

October 4, 2016 By MomMomOnTheGo

MomMomOnTheGo and crew have been putting the various streaming devices to the test and the latest one that we have tried out is Google Chromecast.

The Google Chromecast just plugs right into your HDMI on your television set and then you need to plug the power cord in. Once connected to your WiFi, you are ready to stream using your phone as your remote. You do need to download the Google Cast app on your phone.

The Google Chromecast setup was easy to do and only took a couple of minutes. Once connected a world of entertainment is opened up such as Netflix, Google Play, Crave TV, CTV Go, and more.

With Chromecast, you’re in command. Choose from over 200,000 TV shows & films, 30 million songs, plus radio, sport, games and more. Discover a range of free, subscription or paid content from hundreds of apps.

Chromecast works with iPhone®, iPad®, Android phones and tablets, Mac® and Windows® laptops and Chromebooks.

Once you have the Google Cast app on your phone, you simply go to what you want to have on your TV. Then you hit the cast button and viola, it is up on your television. So all those movies you have in your library, Netflix, or just about anything else you want to do, with the push of the cast button, you can now view it on your television. You can even cast a website onto your television from your laptop.

There is even a way for your friends to cast to your television as a guest.

It seems that what Google Chromecast can do is endless….
